Yes-I'm Talking To You

Responsibilities cloud my life-my mind
Take a walk with me for one day
Inspect my past-Be careful what you find
The pain could invade your heart and stay
The fear of that pain staying, will add to my load
When you feel like you've had enough
Hide from me-in your cozy abode
And avoid the guilt, fear, and hidden stuff
I sit alone when anger and sadness come
My heart is heavy-needs to unload
I cry alone-in the dark-till I'm numb
Thinking aloud throughout my episode
The walls can't call my tears taboo
Yes-I'm talking to you
Publicly-my smile shines bright
I pick you up-keep you up-I'm there for you all
Who's there for me-in the dead of night?
When I need comfort-I've no one to call
I sit alone-when anger and sadness come
My heart is heavy-needs to unload
I cry alone-in the dark-till I'm numb
Thinking aloud throughout my episode
The walls can't call my tears taboo
Yes-I'm talking to you
