Clearly
A trip to the mountains can usually cure what ails me
Just a day, enables me to clearly see
Through all the fear and worry of my mind
I'm able to sort the mess-peace I find
The problems are still in my life, of course
But I can deal with them now-with less remorse
I've released all the anxieties and pain
And can see, life's not always filled with rain
The mountains survive worse than I ever will
They are beautiful, alive, old, and yet new
Each trip reveals to me, what I should do
Just like the trees around here, I grow too.
